Thailand 2020 – Mueang Sing

Prasat Muang Sing is an ancient Khmer style temple, with more similarity to Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

The temples at Prasat Muang Sing were originally built somewhere between the 12th and 13th century. For centuries these temples lay hidden in thick jungle overgrowth and were only uncovered about 50 years ago.

Located near Kanchanaburi (35 mins from the Bridge on the River Kwai) the ruins provide an extra place to visit, once you have visited (or need a break from) the sites linked to the Death Railway.
