Biescas, Hoz de Jaca, Panticosa & Sallent de Gállego in Los Pirineos, España

This summer we headed North once more, but this time, we headed for a region of Spain with the coolest summertime temperatures.

Our base Biescas, was a lively little village from which, to explore the neighbouring villages & countryside. This area is normally busy for skiing & snowboarding during the winter.

We stopped in Hoz de Jaca with its beautiful dam & reservoir. Panticosa with its massive ski resort & cable car, (open for mountain biking & hiking in summer).

Sallent de Gállego the last of our stops & the venue for a music festival whist we were there, with Eco & the Bunneymen topping the bill.

This region of Spain is only 6 miles from France & is beautiful.
